I went to Salon Venue last night for the first time, being LONG overdue for a facial. I booked with Andrea Aiken, and will say up front that I've known her for years, which is why I decided to patronize the salon to begin with. However, knowing her personally is not why I'm writing this stellar review...it's because the facial was the most relaxing experience I've had in a long time! First of all, the salon itself is adorable, decorated beautifully and merchandised well with products. Andrea lead me upstairs to her room, which was just as cute as the rest of the salon...it was also dimly lit and smelled amazing. Although I've only had a few facials in my life, this was the first where I laid on a massage table (or the equivalent) and was covered. Let the relaxation begin! Even though we chatted about family and friends, Andrea made sure to inquire about the problems I've been experiencing with my skin. She explained everything she was doing, and the products she used for each step of the facial. I must admit, I didn't care for the extractions (who does?), but she got through that process fairly quickly. Honestly, the extractions were worth it, because they were followed by at least 20 minutes of head, neck, arm, and hand massage...again, I'd never experienced that with a facial before. By the time she was finished, I barely had the wherewithal to get off the table and drive home. When it came time to settle up, I was shocked when Andrea only charged me $65-that's her current going rate for the "Essential Facial". Last time I had one, at an expensive resort on the Columbia River gorge, I paid twice that...and it wasn't nearly as relaxing. To top it off, my skin looks great today-the flaky patches that were bothering me have calmed down, and my face is clearer and brighter. Again, I would not write this review based solely on friendship-Andrea is a truly skilled esthetician, and is very conscientious about creating a great experience for her clients. Because her prices are so reasonable, I think regular facials will become a new part of my routine. Check it out! –-Leanne

I first met Andrea in Oct '11 after purchasing a Groupon-type deal for a pumpkin facial. The facial itself was great. It smelled really good and made my skin so soft. But the whole experience was also extremley relaxing. Andrea is friendly and explains everything she's doing, and massaged my hands, feet, shoulders, and scalp. It was like getting a massage and a facial in one! I learned shortly after that I was pregnant so I have not had another facial since, but I definitely do plan on going back to Andrea for one at some point after having my baby. When I left I took home a brochure with all of the services that she offers and the pricing. A few months ago I decided that I wanted to start waxing my underarms instead of shaving, but there aren't many places in the area that do that (that I can find). I went a couple times to the only other place I know of that does it, but they charge $35! I looked at Andrea's brochure, and she only charges $20! Between the price and the customer service, I will definitely be sticking with Andrea for my waxing needs from now on (even though the other place is closer to my house and has more openings that work with my schedule). I have been getting the PCA Skin Care Treatments from Andrea routinely as she has suggested for the past two months and my skin has dramatically improved. I used to suffer from embarassing acne and now I feel comfortable enough to be seen without my makeup on. She is very knowledgable about the products and provides great customer service. I have tried many prodcut lines and aestheticians and Andrea is the only one that has been able to help my skin. She is wonderful! –Katie

I had a facial from the esthetician, Andrea-- it was extremely relaxing there was a lot more massage then I had expected and my treatment also started with a foot soak which was a nice surprise. My skin felt hydrated, refreshed and was glowing by the time I left. I had a great experience for my first facial and will definitely be back again. –Kristin
